Jehovah Roi (Raah, Rohi) The Lord Is My Shepard

In Psalm 23, the writer David declares God his Shepard, protector & provider. It shows his heartfelt reliance upon God for all of his needs and God's unconditional love.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Prayer Request

Please pray for my granddaughter, Jennifer Kirk. She needs surgery for a gall stone and a cyst on her ovary. She suffers terribly every month. They've been trying to have a baby so this is probably part of the problem of why they can't. I pray the Lord heal her without surgery if this is His will. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen. Please pray for Michele in Maryland. She has been trying to reunite with her birth mother but is being rejected at every turn. To avoid any further pain she has asked her brother and sister to cease all contact with her. Pray that God minister to her and her mother and bring forgiveness into their hearts and a reunion for the entire family. Thank you, Briggie
